World renowned Dj Fresh has lived the dream of the ultimate DJ but he says there is still more to be accomplished. Thato Sikwane, is known in the house music scene, has shared dj booths with international DJ’s and has made a positive impact on the lives of others.Fresh was born Botswana and played his first gig at the age of 12 and hasn’t looked back since then. He moved to South Africa in 1994 to study advertising and journalism. After getting his qualification, he worked at Yfm on the breakfast show for 8 years and was snapped by 5fm. He has been holding it down on the 5fm drive time show and has been branching into other field of the media world.Fresh has released 13 albums and has shared Dj booths with Little Louie Vega, Frankie Knuckles and Armad Van Helden. Places such as Southport and Ibiza have had the pleasure of dancing to the jams of DJ Fresh. He says, “A good DJ is one that goes the extra mile…”
