1. As a celebrity, you are
“celebrated” by the people who admire you and look
up to you. What do you celebrate, every day of your
life? - Life in itself is a gift, I try and
treat everyday like it's my last and there's nothing
more important to me than my friends and family.
2. If you had to invent a word to describe your
personality, what would it be? - "Trill"
(Totally Real) I didn't make it up, it's actually
from the south of the US.
3. What is your favourite room at home, and why?
- My bedroom, I've got everything there.
4. What do you say to yourself in the mirror when
you wake up in the morning? - ha ha, I don't
really say anything but a song comes to mind: "I
jumped out of bed, turned my swag on, took a look in
a mirror, said wassup" - Soulja Boy
5. If there was a perfume or fragrance named
after you, what would it smell like? - Hmm
something seductive and masculine, L'Oreal hit me up
and we can discuss this further. ha ha
6. What superpower do you wish you had? -
Flying no doubt, in fact, all of superman's powers.
7. What ringtone do you have on your cellphone
right now? - Just a standard ring (sorry if I
disappointed anyone)
8. What was the naughtiest thing you ever did as
a child? - Errr, In primary school I used to go
through our teacher's drawer at the end of each term
and then tell everyone their marks before they got
their reports. (Is that bad enough?)
9. What lesson did you learn from working in a
bank, that you are still able to apply in your
career as a VJ? - I didn't really work in a bank
but I worked in an office environment for a
financial institution. We had very strict rules,
regarding punctuality, office conduct,
confidentiality etc. so I always find it funny when
people in entertainment complain about their working
hours because I know it could be a whole lot worse.
10. Your MTV base show is called “Player”. What’s
the big secret of your own success as a “Player”?
- First of all, I'm not a player but even if I was,
you know I'd never tell. The game is to be sold, not
told. ha ha
11. Part of your job involves finding out what’s
new and cool. Quick: what’s the coolest thing you’ve
ever seen, anywhere in the world? - That's a
difficult one, I can't really say. Can I get back to
you on that?
12. You’re an expert at identifying up-and-coming
talent. In your expert opinion, what’s the surest
way NOT to succeed in show business? - Not being
true to yourself will definitely lead to failure.
